What LPC recorded
The western end of the north-side inventory begins with five Italianate houses associated with builders Root and Rust. LPC recorded three stories over basements, a brick exterior and stucco at basement level. The grouping establishes a rhythm of elevated entrances and ornament that continues along the avenue.
